Additional Information: Vitamins and minerals which are required in small amounts play an important role in the regulation of metabolic activity of the body are called as Micronutrients. The importance of micronutrients present in cereal based foods with reference to the evaluation of methods for the estimation of water soluble vitamin B1 (thiamine) and vitamin B2 (riboflavin) which are found quite abundantly in cereal based foods are studied.
