Abstract

The present work focused on screening of different algae for the presence of vitamin B12, characterization and its activity. Different microalgae strains such as Spirulina, Chlorella, Dunaliella, Scenedesmus, Botryococcus and Nostoc were screened for the presence of vitamin B12.
