Abstract

During the year under review, greater attention was paid thar. hitherto to the value of subsidiary, substitute and little known foods in human nutrition. Considerable interest was also shown in institution feeding experiments as a method of assessing tbe supplementary value of various types of food mat~rials to poor vegetarian diets.
